The Central Committee of Polish Jews today issued a statement here announcing that Jews are continuing to return to Poland from the warious camps in Germany. “The majority of them are women between 15 and 30 years of age.” the statement says. “Their condition is horrible. They are exhausted, starved and are half naked, or in rags. Almost all of them are sick.”

The statement emphasizes that the Polish Government “spares no effort” to help the Jewish repatriates, but its aid cannot satisfy the immense requirements. The committee expresses the hope that Jewish organizations abroad will do their utmost to supply the Jews in Poland with clothing, underwear, shoes, tools, raw materials, and especially food for children.
