In a note to the Allied Control Commission the Hungarian Government has requested Allied intervention, it was learned today, to halt reported Czechoslovak expulsion of Jews who once claimed Hungarian nationality.

The Hungarian Foreign Ministry asserted in its note that many of these Jews, returning to Czechoslovakia from German concentration-camps, are “physically and financially ruined,” and that they are being stripped of their few possessions. They are hunted across the frontier of Slovakia, as are all persons of former Hungarian nationality
