The number of Jews killed in Arab riots in Tripolitania rose to more than 100, following renewed anti-Jewish outbreaks at Zanzur and Javia, Tuesday night, it was reported here today by the British Ministry of Information.
The report said that in addition to the seventy-four killed in the pogrom in Tripoli, thirty Jews were killed Tuesday night in Zanzur and six were massacred at Javia. They included a number of children. Arab mobs in Zanzur also burnt the synagogue and a number of Jewish houses, the report stated.
