The Palestine Arab Higher Committee, which is only a few days old, has already encountered difficulties. It is reported that Musa al Alami, non-party member, objects to creation of a board from the Higher Committee to direct activities and finances of the Arab office, which the Arab League entrusted to him in the absence of a representative Palestinian Arab political body.

(It was reported in August that the council of the Arab League had decided to set up a propaganda organization to be called the Arab Office, with its head office in Cairo and branches in Jerusalem, London and Washington. The Arab office was to be allocated large funds, about $2,000,000 being mentioned as its allocation for the first year of its existence.)
