The Jewish community in the town of Brashovi, in Transylvania, this week performed traditional burial services over a case of soap found there recently. The soap, which had been sent from the Reich to German settlers in Transylvania, was inecribed, “Pure Jewish Soap,” and had been made from fat obtained from the corpses of Jews murdered in Nazi death-camps.
