A drive to raise 50,000,000 francs in France during the coming year was announced here today by the executive committee of the Jewish National Fund.
The committee asked the JNF central office in Jerusalem to reserve one of its fifteen new settlements for Jewish emigrants from France. Included among these emigrants will be chalutzim who participated in the French resistance movement, chalutzim held prisoners or deported by the Nazis, and Jewish orphans, the committee said.
