A three-day “Central Conference on Palestine” opened here yesterday with the participation of several hundred prominent Christian clergyman and laymen. The conference, which is under the auspices of the American Christian Palestine Committee, yesterday was addressed by Sen. Owen Brewster of Mains. Other speakers to be heard include Senators Alben Barkley and James Mead and Prof. Francis McMahon of the University of Chicago.
