Austrian President Says Jews Will Be Compensated for Losses Within Possible Limits

The Austrian Government will compensate the country’s Jews for financial losses incurred during the war, according to an announcement issued by President Karl Renner.

The announcement added that claims are expected to be so large that rules will be laid down ensuring that every person will receive his proper share within the limits possible.
