A plan to raise $1,000,000 through personal insurance bequests to aid in the acquisition of land in Palestine by the Jewish National Fund, was announced here by Louis Lipsky, Nasi of the Order B’nai Zion, following a meeting of the executive board of the organization.

It was resolved to create a special agency, to be known as the National Ussishkin League, to devote itself to this activity. Membership of the league will be open to all those making the JNF a beneficiary of their wills for a minimum of $1,000. Isaac Carmel, recently named director of B’nai Zion, will be in charge of the activities of the Ussishkin League.
