Several hundred dollars will be distributed as prizes by “The Laredo Times” for letters and sermons proposing solutions of the problem of the surviving Jews in Europe. The prizes are being offered in connection with publication by the Times of a series of articles on Palestine and the displaced Jews of Europe by Ralph McGill, editor of the Atlanta Constitution, written for the Oversees News Agency.
