15 Jews Reported Arrested by Syrian Police As They Attempt to Enter Palestine

The Arab press reports today that 15 visaless Jewish immigrants were arrested on the Syrian border as they attempted to slip into Palestine.

Twenty Tripolitanian Jews who have been in possession of Palestine immigration certificates for more than a year are unable to come here because the Egyptian Government refuses to grant them transit visas, it is reported here.

A new settlement for Jewish veterans and their families was established yesterday near the village of Tel Mond, 22 miles from Tel Aviv.
