The establishment of a new government department for trade and industry was officially announced here today.
The new bureau will deal with inquiries concerning home trade, foreign trade, general marketing conditions, and transport. It will also handle commercial agreements with foreign companies, will promote tourist trade, and will attempt to stimulate village industry.
