Police today were investigation the killing of two Jews and the wounding of many others in an anti-Semitic riot in the town of Kunmadaras, eighty miles form here, when a mob attempted to prevent Jews from testifying against a school teacher on trial for pre-Nazi activities.
The teacher was charged with spreading a report that Jews were murdering non-Jewish children. A bob of his supporters, incensed at his prosecution, incited the assault on the town’s 129 Jewish residents. Eight of the wounded required hospitalization.
