The recommendations of the Anglo-American inquiry committee can be implemented only through use of force, which might result in Britain finding itself at war with the Arab League, Brigadier John B. Glubb Pasha, commander of the Arab Legion, Transjordan’s desert army, warned yesterday.
In an interview with a correspondent of the Daily Mail, Glubb suggested that Britain, the United States and other countries admit part of the 100,000 European Jews who would enter Palestine under the committee’s recommendations.
