Palestine agencies supported by the United Palestine Appeal spent more than $15,000,000 in the first four months of 1946 for aid to Jewish refugees reaching Palestine during this period and in preparation for the settlement of other expected immigrants, it was announced by Rudolph G. Sonneborn, acting national chairman of the United Jewish Appeal.
