Convention of Youth Groups Urges Action Against Ku Klux Klan Attacks on Jewish Clubs

The Council of National Jewish Youth Organizations composed of representatives of fifteen Jewish youth groups, concluded its first annual convention here today with adoption of a resolution urging all its members to take steps locally to counteract Ku Klux Klan attacks against Jewish fraternities. Which were reported recently in several western states.

The convention also adopted a resolution denouncing British Foreign Secretary Ernest Bevin’s statement on Palestine. Arthur Gilbert was elected chairman of the Council.
