A resolution condemning “a world which permitted the Nazi annihilation of a third of the Jewish people” was adopted here today at the world conference of the International Organization of Poets, Essayists and Novelists, more familiarly known as PEN. The resolution was introduced by Joseph Leftwich, Jewish writer and translator, on behalf of the Jewish PEN Club of New York.
