The Inner Zionist Actions Committee voted today to take concrete steps to implement the proposals for non-cooperation with the government adopted by the Jewish National Council last week. The new policy is expected to go into effect immediately and remain in force until leaders of the Jewish Agency are released.

The action came after an address by Dr. Chaim Weizmann, which was read later to about 100 correspondents, in which he pleaded with Britain to free the Jewish leaders and bring peace to Palestine. (See report of Weizmann press conference below.)

Later Dr. Weizmann, accompanied by Harry Sacher, political adviser to the Jewish Agency in London, visited the interned members of the Agency executive at Latrun.

There were several raids by British troops in Tel Aviv and the vicinity today. The Histadruth Agricultural Center at Merkaz haklai was searched and six members of the staff of an agricultural magazine published there were arrested.
