The Labor Service Veterans Federation, an organization of persons who were sent in slave labor gangs to the Russian front by the pro-Nazi government, has appealed to the heads of the Christian churches in the country to take an active stand from their pulpits against anti-Semitism.
The Federation also asked that meetings of high clergymen be organized in Budapest for the same purpose. So far only Unitarian Minister Lajos Szentivanyi of Budapest has responded to the appeal.
