The Hungarian National Committee, an inter-party official organization charged with the democratization of Hungarian life, which has branches throughout the country, today called upon its membership to wage a vigorous fight against anti-Semitism. At the same time, the committee appealed to all clergymen in Hungary to join in the struggle.
In line with this program the trans-Danubian town of Kaposvar held a meeting to debate the Jewish question which was addressed by Jews and non-Jews. Similar meetings are expected to be held in other sections of the country in the near future.
