The British Government sent a preliminary report to Washington on yesterday’s bomb explosion at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, it was reported today by a spokesman of the Foreign Office.
It is understood that the report expressed British concern over the consequent crisis, but has not raised the question of what policy should now be pursued. (An Associated Press cable from London reported that the bombing “appeared today to have destroyed virtually all possibility of early implementation of recent proposals for the admission of 100,000 European Jews to Palestine”.)
