Nineteen Jewish men and four women who are charged with having participated in a raid on the Haifa Bay railway yards on June 17 today forced the adjournment of their trial within 25 minutes after it opened, by conducting a “singing filibuster.”
They commenced singing Jewish and underground songs as soon as the members of the court entered the chamber and continued while an interpreter was sworn in. The court adjourned the trial to a later date.
