The anti-Semitic Alianza Libertadora Nacionalista today held a street demonstration here at which violently anti-Jewish slogans were shouted. The police broke up the rally.

The charge that the authorities are taking no action to apprehend and punish anti-Semitic students responsible for an attack upon Leonard Chaitlin, an intern at the local medical school’s hospital, was today levelled by La Prensa, one of the capital’s leading newspapers. The editorial asserts that the university authorities are aware of the identities of Chaitlin’s attacks.

The paper points out that the outrage occurred at night and that it is a practice to have all doctors and medical assistants register when they enter the hospital at night. From this roster the attackers can be found, the newspaper declares.
