Jewish National Fund of America Cables $5,000,000 to Palestine for Land Purchases

The Jewish National Fund of America today cabled $5,000,000 to the J.N.F. headquarters in Jerusalem for the purchase of new land in Palestine for Jewish colonization there.

Pointing out that “this is the largest single remittance in the history of American Zionism,” Judge Morris Rothenberg, president of the American Jewish National Fund, said: “It is an expression of faith in the justice and the ultimate triumph of the Zionist cause. The remittance is also an encouragement to the gallant Jewish community of Palestine which is desperately fighting to save the remnants of the Jewish people in Europe through the opening of the gates of the Jewish National Home to them.”
