Paraguayan President Promises Favorable Consideration of Efforts for Displaced Jews

President Gen. Higinio Morinigo today received H. Shoskes, a HIAS representative, and promised favorable consideration of immigration activities in Paraguay in behalf of displaced Jews from Europe. Later Shoskes conferred with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Agriculture and Immigration on the same subject.
