Jews are still being dragged off Polish trains despite intensified government efforts to combat anti-Semitic terrorism and anti-Government groups.

A report reaching the Jewish Committee here states that armed terrorists removed five Jews from a Lodz-Cracow train. Their fate is unknown, but it is assumed that they have been murdered.

Another report states that 23-year-old Chaim Pszenica, a Jewish officer in the Polish Army, who was decorated with the highest honors for bravery on the battlefield, was murdered on the road from Kalushin to Siedlece. His body was brought to Siedlece where he was buried with military honors.
