A decision to form a world-wide organization for the rehabilitation of Jewish education and culture was adopted here at the closing session of the Jewish Education Conference last night.
The new organization, which will have its headquarters in London, will survey existing facilities in the United States, England, France and Palestine and will attempt to train there additional rabbis, teachers and religious leaders for devastated European countries with the aid of the American Jewish Committee and the Joint Distribution Committee. In addition the group will attempt to re-establish Jewish training centers in Germany and elsewhere. It will also undertake to publish Bibles and textbooks.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
