A Certificate of Achievement has been awarded to the Metropolitan Council of B’nai B’rith of New York by the Navy Department. The award, which was made for the organization’s services to Navy personnel during the war, was presented by Commander Joshua L. Goldberg, assistant district chaplain of the Third Naval District, to Samuel Markle, president of the council.
