The Palestine Arab Higher Committee tonight issued a call for a general strike of Arabs throughout Palestine for Nov. 2, the 29th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration. The Higher Committee has asked the neighboring Arab states to join in the strike.
Hashomer Hatzair pamphlets urging the Jewish population to take active measures against terrorists were today destroyed in Tel Aviv by a group of young Jewish boys, who also attempted to set fire to the shop in which the pamphlets were stored.
