An unidentified truck was blown up shortly after 9 o’clock this evening a few yards from the Jewish Agency building on King George Avenue. Preliminary reports said that there were a number of casualties.
The blast shook the center of the city and police cars rushed to the scene. Radio patrol cars were warned to be on the look-out for a light brown truck believed to be connected with the explosion.
