Freeland League Will Investigate Possibilities of Jewish Immigration to Guianas

A three-day all-American conference of the Freeland League for Jewish territorial colonization held here this week, appointed a commission to investigate the possibilities for Jewish colonization in the South American colonies of British, French and Dutch Guiana, it was announced today.

Following a report by Dr. I.N. Steinberg, president of the League, on negotiations with the three governments concerned with the Guianas, the conference authorized its national executive to continue the negotiations. It also elected a new national executive of 19 members.
