A request that the Jewish Agency grant $400,000 to the Hebrew University was made today at a luncheon here arranged by representatives of the university for the heads of the various parties represented at the Congress. Among the speakers were Dr. Weizmann, the rector of the University of Basle, Dr. Stephen S. Wise, and others.
