The Liberal and National Peasant parties, which comprise the opposition to the present Rumanian Government, were charged today by M.A. Saraceanu, president of the Jewish Democratic Committee, with fostering anti-Semitism.

Addressing a conference of foreign correspondents, Saraceanu cited a petition signed by 80,000 persons charging the two parties with anti-Semitism and, replying to a recent denial by Juliu Maniu, head of the National Peasants, he produced several documents illustrating some of the party’s anti-Jewish activities.
