Jewish Chain Store Bombed in London As Anti-semitic Attacks Continue

A Jewish chain store was blasted by a bomb and a car owned by a Jew was blown up yesterday in continued attacks on Jews in London, despite police precautions to suppress anti-Semitic actione. In a third attack a window of a Jewish shop was smashed.

Meanwhile, Bristol police today were guarding the only synagogue in that city following the discovery of oil-soaked rage and clothing covered with coal. in the main entrance to the building. The rage have been taken to a police laboratary for examination, in the hope of finding a clue to recent attempts to burn down synagogues in London. Anti-Jewish slogans appeared on the streets of Bristol this past week.

Fascists have renamed their tactics aimed at heightening anti-Jewish sentiment by new “terrorist” telephone threats to blow up public buildings. Last night police posted guards at the King’s Cross railroad station following an enonyacus threat to blow it up. All underground platforms of the rail termical were searched and the public was kept away from the main platforms after midnight.
