Representative A.L. Miller, Republican of Nebraska, today called on Congress for a full investigation of Administration immigration policies with special reference to displaced persons.

In a speech to the House he asked “how much truth is there to the rumor that individuals are entering this country by first becoming citizens of other countries with very loose quota arrangements.” He asserted that “it is utterly impossible to get from the State Department or immigration authorities the true picture of the type of people coming into the U.S.” adding that “many of the people now coming in will not make a contribution to good government. A great many of them are disturbers.”
