Canadian Anti-semite Links Social Credit Party to Christian Front in United States

The Social Credit Party of Canada is doing the #### work as the Christian Front or the Christian National Crusade in the United States, Norman Jacques, anti-Semitic member of the Canadian Parliament, and a leader of the Social Credit Party, declared in Ottawa. The B’nai B’rith recently asked Secretary of State George C. Marshall to bar Jacques from the United States because of his anti-Semitic activities.

A resolution calling on organized labor in Canada to carry on a “determined educational campaign to counteract racial and religious prejudice within its ranks” ## adopted at a meeting of the Montreal Trade Union Conference against Racial and Religious Intolerance. It declared that the conference was “fully aware of the danger to the trade union movement” inherent in the unchecked growth of intolerance and Riscrimination.

It also recommended the formation of a trade union committee to institute, in cooperation with other “bonafide institutions,” an anti-intolerance campaign. The meeting was attended by many delegates of A.F.L. and C.I.O. unions.
