British Labor Party Convention Asked to Support Demand for a Jewish State

With the Palestine question up for discussion on Thursday at the British Labor Party conference here, the Jewish Labor Party Palestine today distributed an appeal to the dolegates condemning Britain’s efforts prevent Jews from immigrating to Palestine and terming these efforts “a deplorable anti-climar” to the war showing “lack of insight and humanity.”

The appeal asked the delegates to support the demand for a Jewish State, in? immigration and abolition of land restrictions in Palestine. The Zionist ? Party of England, which is affiliated to the British Labor Party, will propose Thursday a resolution asking the British Government to submit to the United Nations positive proposal for the future of Palestine along the lines of the previous Labor ? position, favoring the establishment of a Jewish state.
