An unexploded bomb was discovered yesterday in Rome’s principal synagoue. It is rumored that it was placed there by anti-Zionist Arabs working with Italian fascists. A so-called Arab Befense Committee was recently set up here to combat Zionist activities.

An Italian Zionist Federation was established here yesterday at a meeting presided over by Aryeh Stern, the Jewish Agency representative in Italy. It includes all Zionist groups, both Italian and refugee, and will have a total membership of about 10,000.
