French police were today reported to have asked Belgium to extradite to France Elizabeth Lazarus, 21-year-old veteran of the Resistance, who is allegedly implicated in the sending of letter bombs to prominent Britons. According to the reports, the extradition plea was based not on dispatch of the letter bombs, but on alleged violation of a French law prohibiting the illegal possession of explosives.
