President Truman to Discuss Dp Problem with Group of Congressional Leaders Next Week

President Truman will discuss the DP situation (##)th Congressional leaders on Monday, he told his press conference today.

Those to meet with him will be Senate President Arthur H. Vandenberg, Republican of Michigan; Senate Republican Floor Leader Wallace H. White, Jr. of Maine; Senate Democratic Leader Alben W. Barkley of Kentucky; Speaker of the House Joseph (##) Martin, Republican of Massachusetts; House Republican Floor Leader Charles A. (##)lleck of Indiana; and House Democratic Leader Sam Rayburn of Texas.

A bill to simplify immigration forms required for aliens entering the United States by ship was approved today by the House Immigration Sub-Committee. It reduces the number of questions to be answered from 37 to three.
