Under-Secretary of the Interior Oscar L. Chapman (##) Assistant Secretary of State for Occupied Areas John H. Hilldring will be co(##)irmen of the government unit of the Christian Committee for the 1947 United Jews Appeal, it was learned here today.
The Christian Committee will seek to raise $200,000 toward the $1,800,000 (##)ch the Washington Jewish community set as its part of the national quota. Organization of the various government departments for the campaign is expected to be (##)leted within the next two weeks.
