The Jewish community in Tripolitania comprising more than 30,000 persons, has become affiliated with the World Jewish Congress, Dr. Ignacy Schwarzbart, head of the organization department of the Congress, announced today. The organization, which is known as “Comunita Israelitica della Tripolitania,” has its headquarters in the capital, Tripoli.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
