Dr. Eising Silberschlag, prominent educator and author, has been named dean of the Hebrew Teachers College here. He has been on the faculty of the College for many years.
Dr. Benjamin Shevach, a faculty member at the College, has been named superintendent of the Bureau of Jewish Education. He succeeds Louis Hurwich who has retired from the post after 30 years’ service.
