Secretary of State George C. Marshall and Willard L. Thorp, American representative on the U.N. Economic and Social Council, were-asked to press for consideration of the proposed convention outlawing genocide at the September session of the General Assembly, in a telegram sent during the week-end by the American Jewish Conference.
