American Jewish Conference Asks U.S. to Press for Passage of Genocide Convention at UN

Secretary of State George C. Marshall and Willard L. Thorp, American representative on the U.N. Economic and Social Council, were-asked to press for consideration of the proposed convention outlawing genocide at the September session of the General Assembly, in a telegram sent during the week-end by the American Jewish Conference.
