Mexico Will Admit 100 Jewish Families from Europe; Must Be Employed in Agriculture

Mexico is willing to admit 100 Jewish families in Europe on condition that the immigrants take up agricultural pursuits, it was armed here today. The Government declared that it is also ready to grant such immigrants suitable plots of land and all necessary farming equipment.

Dr. Hector Perez Martinez, Minister of the Interior, made this statement to a Jewish delegation after conferring with President Miguel Aleman. The delegation was ##de up of S. Wishniak, noted film magnate, Gregorio Shapiro and Max Shane.
