I.r.o. Offices to Be Moved from Paris to Geneva; New Head Takes over Direction

The International Refugee Organization offices will be moved from Paris to Geneva this week, it was announced here today. Key personnel are expected to arrive here from London within a few days.

William H. Tuck, executive secretary of the I.R.O. Preparatory Commission, has arrived to assume direction of the organization. His predecessor, Arthur J. Altmeyer, returned to the United States last night.

(From Lake Success it was reported that Guatemala today indicated its unreserved adherence to the I.R.O. charter. Nearly 70 percent of the agency’s first-year’s operational budget has now been pledged by various nations.)
