Nazi “liquidator” of Radom Ghetto Goes on Trial; Murdered 28,000 Jews

Wilhelm Blum, former Nazi police chief in the Radom district, who was responsible for the “liquidation” of the Radom Ghetto, went on trial today as a war criminal. American military authorities recently turned him over to the Polish Government.

A memorial meeting to honor the 28,000 Jews who were killed in 1942 when the Radom ghetto was liquidated was held in Radom yesterday. High Polish officials attended.
