The American Friends of the Alliance Israelite Universelle announced today a program of expanding educational facilities for Jews in Morocco.
The plan provides for the setting up by the Alliance of 40 additional classes in in its schools in Casablanca, Meknes and other Moroccan cities to accommodate 2,000 new students. This will bring the total enrollment of Jewish students in the Alliance schools in the Mediterranean area to 45,000.
