France Seen Dropping Korff Affair Unless British Government Exerts Pressure

Events of the last 24 hours indicate that the great “conspiracy” to bomb London will peter out within a few days unless the British demand that the French Government act against Rabbi Baruch Korff, chief architect of the “plot,” and his associates.

The first indication of this was given last night when Korff and nine others were arraigned in a magistrates court here. Although the government pressed charges of possession of pamphlets harmful to the nation, the magistrate refused to entertain charges of illegal possession of armaments, since the prosecution was unable to produce the bombs, which it alleged were to be dropped over London.
