Group of Hungarians Go on Trial for Aiding Nazis Murder Jews During Occupation

The trial of a group of civilians charged with aiding the Nazis exterminate Jews in Hungary during the occupation of the country opened in Kiskunhalas yesterday. The Hungarians are also accused of robbing the bodies of the murdered Jews.

The Jewish fraternal organization, Chevra Kadisha, dedicated a cornerstone for a memorial to the Jewish war dead at a ceremony in the Budapest Jewish cemetery.
